Neuron7 is a leading innovator in Service Intelligence, helping complex service organizations resolve issues in seconds with AI. As the company prepared to announce its $44M Series B funding round in mid-2024, the stakes were incredibly high. While the funding validated their technology, the media landscape was suffering from "AI fatigue," in which skepticism about the actual ROI of Generative AI risked burying the news alongside hundreds of other funding announcements.
Cogenta partnered with Neuron7 to craft a narrative that went beyond the typical "funding round" headline. Ahead of the announcement, our core strategy was to secure an exclusive feature story in a top-tier publication. We leaned into the reputation of lead investor Smith Point Capital’s Keith Block, the former co-CEO of Salesforce, to secure a TechCrunch exclusive where both Block and the company’s CEO Niken Patel were interviewed.
